This looks really interesting – I lived on Hoole St, Palm St, and Walkley St a long time ago – now in Nottinghamshire

I lived at 121 Fulton Rd.from the 1940,s till early 1960,s,I still remember most of the shops and buildings,in early 1950,s there was a massive storm that caused terrible damage,my father got us all up,he saved my sisters life, the chimney stack fell through the roof onto her bed.All the soot came down the chimney,we were all black,it took a few minutes to settle, there was about 1 inch of soot floating on top of our tea.We could here the clatter of slates smashing in the roadThe wind had blown out quite a few shop windows on South road. The damage took years to repair.I have lived in N.Ireland for over 20 years.
